Blue Turtle, Inc. was founded in 1986 as a Delaware Corporation. In 1989, when Owner YOUSSEF VAHABZADEH, a Swiss national, relocated from Geneva to Los Angeles, the company became active in developing film and television projects. Mr. Vahabzadeh serves as both its President and Producer. Blue Turtle has nurtured a dynamic slate of studio and independent feature film and television projects with budgets ranging from $5 to $45 million dollars. These projects are being produced autonomously by Blue Turtle, as well as with various producing partners in the US, England and France. One such previous US-partnership, Eclectic Films, produced “DIGGSTOWN” (MGM, 1992) and “PONTIAC MOON” (Paramount, 1994), both budgeted at $15 million. Current producing partners include UK-based Renegade Films and The Thought Gang, Ltd., French-based Paris Pictures, and San Francisco-based Hotwire Productions, with which Blue Turtle is currently completing post-production on “TEKNOLUST,” the company’s first high-definition feature. EPIPHANY ENTERTAINMENT Epiphany Entertainment was launched in 2001 and is proud to announce the acceptance of its first full feature length digital film, Teknolust, in 2002 Sundance Film Festival. Epiphany is a cutting edge media company forcused on delivering quality content with experience in new forms of technology including the Internet and digital content development. Teknolust will be one of the first digital films shot in 24p High Definition format with special effect graphics. The company is located in Pasadena, California and founded by Brad King. HOTWIRE PRODUCTIONS Hotwire Productions is a company devoted to the production of films and digital art. It has produced numerous commissions for museums and private companies worldwide, the most recent of which was a permanent installation for Charles Schwab. It has produced all 52 of Lynn Hershman Leeson's videos and two films including Conceiving Ada and Teknolust. Hotwire Productions will be completing several new films with Tilda Swinton in the future, including The Memoirs of Elizabeth Frankenstein, now scheduled for June 2003. |
